Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SlapSec LLC (“SlapSec”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through slapsec.com. We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to respond to you and run the site.

1. Who we are (data controller)

EU / EEA / UK visitors
Because we offer services to clients in the European Union, the EU GDPR and UK GDPR may apply to your personal data. The sections below describe the legal bases we rely on and the rights you can exercise. As a US-based controller, we handle such requests through info@slapsec.com.

2. What we collect

a) Information you give us

When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide: your name, company, work email, role, sector, urgency and the content of your message. The contact form opens your email client to send this to us, or — if a form backend is later configured — transmits it to that provider acting on our behalf.

b) Technical data

When you visit, our hosting/CDN provider may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps, to deliver and secure the site.

c) Functional storage

We store your language choice and the fact that you dismissed the privacy notice in your browser's local storage. See our Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run web analytics.

3. Why we use it & legal bases

For visitors in the United States, we process this data in accordance with applicable US law.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site under our instructions (acting as processors), such as:

We also load fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC); see the Cookie Policy. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, your personal data is transferred to and processed in the US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers (for example, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses). By contacting us, you understand your data will be processed in the United States.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, plus any period required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

EEA / UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know, access, delete and correct your personal information and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of it — note that we do not sell or share your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email info@slapsec.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

9. Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Questions or requests: info@slapsec.com.
